What if; Hope - Out in the Community

Hi all! I hope you are enjoying a great summer! I've been attending events to spread the word of our awesome charity! My first event was the AJ Schlett Memorial Run. I met amazing people who all came out to support A.J's family!

Following this event I reserved a vendor table at Sandusky Pride! This event was filled with peace and love! One young man that I chatted with shared his story of his attempt to use 988 on an occasion that he needed someone to talk with. Unfortunately, he was left on hold for 10 long, precious minutes! He's now able to laugh about it but it really makes me wonder how well we are doing to assist those in need.

Finally, I was honored to attend the Damian Henning Memorial run in Wakeman, Ohio. Damian's grandparents were lovely people with beautiful stories and tattoos to share with me!

I'm blessed to attend these events to remember and celebrate these beautiful young men who are gone too soon....
